B-Boy Wattsy
24 years old, born in 1987 and lives in Cambridge
I had always gone around doing the moonwalk and trying to walk around on my hands but didnt learn about breakin and the hip-hop culture until I met Sin-Cru. The only thing I had seen before then was Michelangelo from TMNT doing the backspin and the freestyler music video!
I started breaking around 2003 when a group called Sin Cru came to my school. From there I took part in shows, battles and club nights.
I stopped breaking around 2006 and didn’t start again till around 2009 time. I got in touch with some guys around Cambridge and started breaking again and since then I’ve taken part in various shows and balls on the university scene and also taken part in battles in other towns and ive also ventured to other countries and taken part there.
At the start of 2011 more people were starting to train together and were serious so we decided to form this crew we now call Generation ILL.

I had always been into Hip Hop and fancied myself as a dancer in the night clubs. But whilst at University saw an exchange student throw down in the student union after I had been showing off and I was Hooked. You could probably call it my first battle as well!
Influences: In terms of starting off my boy Mess cause he taught me my first steps. But I mainly grab my influence from loved ones and people that show me respect and support.
Much love and respect to the crews who shaped the game in a unique way in there respective era; Rock Steady (Orginal), New York City Rockers, Second to None, Battle Squad, Style Elements, Skill Methods – Damn I could list a host more. At moment though I’m enjoying watching Knucklehead Cali these guys are mad orginal. Oh and Generation Ill

B-Boy Curious George
I was born and raised in cambridge. im 15 years old and i go to Chesterton community collage.
i first began b-boying when i was about 9 in 2005. it was something i had always been interested in so i found out about local workshops run by SINCru from a friend. i soon fell in love with the dance and stopped all over average 9 year old boy activities just so i could focus on dancing.
around a year later i was invited into the crew JNR SINStars, it was then when i began to teach, perform and battle. During my time as a JNR, feel i gained a lot of experience and skills as i was involved in many different types of jobs, shows, bookings, parties, fates, carnivals… you name it ive done it! i took part in many competitions and battles over my 5 years as a JNR and had a great time!
In january 2011 me and my fellow crew member Jake ”O’hair left the JNR SINStars and began training with some Ol’ Cambridge folk! soon we all came together and created a crew, GENERATION ILL! aswell as being a crew we all share tight loving bonds that bring us together like a family! since then i have mainly entered 2 on 2 battles with my homeslice jake! But i have done a few solos and 1 or 2 random crew battles too! many more to come in the future! In the future i have many plans for world domination, i aim to train harder and more, focus on getting into perfect shape and get in the right mind set! these are things i believe will come in handy when trying to conquer the world.
my style i would describe as clean and focused with some random fruity things thrown it. i mainly just try and do my own thing however i feel the people that inspire me or i have been taught by are reflected in my style.
when i train i generally go all out in the first half and then take it easier the later on i get. i feel i have the most energy to accomplish things at the begin. However i plan on training harder and working on my stamina so i can maintain for energy for longer. hopefully this means i will be able to go all out for much longer.
i would say my biggest inspirations are; bboy Thesis, bboy Neguin, bboy Grazy, Ill Boogs, Ben Jammin, bboy Focus many many more! My loving mother!! i would say i watch people i train with a lot, they often surprise me with things i didn’t know they had and it gives me energy and makes me want to train harder.
i feel music makes a world of difference when i dance! if i dont like the song, my dancing will always be average! when i get a song i love it gives me energy to just go off!
Pain is temporary, Glory is forever.- Evil Kenevil.
